Ingredients

  • 1/2 a gallon of water at room temp.
  • 3 tbsp. of dried hibiscus
  • 1 tsp. of clove
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 3/4 cup of sugar

              Step by step method

              • Step 1

                Take water, hibiscus, cinnamon stick, cloves and lemon into a deep pan.

              • Step 2

                Cook for 20 minutes after it starts to boil.

              • Step 3

                Remove for the heat and drain with a cheese cloth.

              • Step 4

                Add sugar and stir until it melts.

              • Step 5

                Set aside until it becomes at room temperature, then put it in the fridge.

              • Step 6

                Serve cold (or with ice).
